Funny how nobody even mentioned weight before canelo beat trout and the fight became a possiblity, now everyone is crying that he's to big, Floyd is a "Champ" @ 154 or at least he was, so Why fight in a division and then complain about weight, they both will weigh inside the contracted limit.
Chavez - Martinez, No Excuse.

Not too long ago canelo would have been a unproven cherry pick. He's fought old past prime or blown up little guys. The fight with Josesito Lopez the guy came up two weight divisions, he's been pegged to fight little men.

Spot on! Floyd should be fighting the Khan's and Alexander's of the world next! Better legacy and more money than fighting the likes of Canelo!

This.

He doesn't have to fight him for significance or belts or whatever, but if he wants to break his own PPV records and make more money than ever...

It would be a huuuuuuge fight. I say leave it til the end of Floyd's career. Alvarez still has improving to do and can build himself up to the non-Mexican/hardcore audience in the meantime. Imagine how big this fight would be if it happens in 2 years, while in the meantime Alvarez fights Cotto, Martinez, Chavez Jr., Pacquiao, and Marquez. Those are the sort of names GBP needs to be shooting for if they want to really build this as a superfight instead of a cash-in. Alvarez would be high on the p4p lists if he had those names on his resume.

In the meantime, Floyd will be fighting Guerrero, Khan, Bradley, Matthysse, and either Martinez or Marquez while becoming bigger than ever with the increased activity and exposure on CBS, etc. If they can keep active against solid opponents for the next two years, I can see this being Mayweather's send-off fight. It could sort of kind of maybe just a little erase the whole Pacquaio thing.

im sure you would rather seen "the ghost" who was a good fighter at super featherweight than a 42-0, 22 year old hungry kid in the division where floyd last fought.....

Bradley is way more deserving and more of a threat with his speed than Canelo, but Canelo is part of the GBP machine that makes all you retards care about the last 5 shitty Mosley fights, and half of those awful Hopkins fights.

People get really retarded when it comes to Mayweather. They just know whoever Floyd is not fighting is the one they should hype up and the guys he does fight = bums

Why don't you tell me of the fight night weight disparity between Floyd and those so called little guys and then tell me what the disparity would be against Canelo. Think you can factually back up your position rather than just banter nonsense?

guys coming up from 1 and 2 divisions below are smaller guys, regardless of how much water weight or fat they put on by being lazy
floyd a title holder at 154, canelo a title holder at 154. yet somehow canelo is too big
you are such a crying *****
