Walcott had a broken arm early in the fight, so it would never make my list.

What would? Hmmm....lemme think

What would you say is Langford's number 1 win?

Surf, where did you hear this, I've never heard anything about Walcott breaking his arm in that fight.

It was reported in several papers. Here's one:

So it was a Walcott fight against Gans where he broke his arm? I misunderstood, I thought you were saying he'd broken his arm in the fight against Sam.

I'm not sure what I was saying, Clay. I think I had a blonde moment!

Yes but if Andre Ward fought some teenage novice in his first year as a professional under similar circumstances, we would still see them as being horendously overmatched.

How did Langford go from lightweight to heavyweight in the pre-steroid era ?

Seriously, people talk about his prime weight being around 180 pounds in his late 20s, but he's still weighing in around 140 when he's 20 ?

It seems highly unusual.

He was only 17 when he was 140.

Even so the consensus on the general forum would be that he was roiding.

Was he most likely born in 1883 or 1886 ?
What's Clay say ?

Okay, so he was only 20 when he fought Jack Johnson.
That makes more sense in the way he grew from 140 pounds at age 17 to 180 pounds in his mid-20s.
