I thought Beterbiev got signed by a promoter based out of Montreal? At least four years too late if you ask me.

Going off on a tangent from that ... Which Olympic H's and SH's would be ready to take on top 30 pro HWs sooner rather than later, if they were to go pro in the near future?

Breazeale is Malik Scott's main sparring partner. Excellent fighter.

Oleksandr Usyk could beat guys in the top 30 right now. Seems to be taking his time regarding announcing his pro intentions.

Usyk and Gvozdyk may be sparring partners for Chakhkiev in his Wlodarczyk camp. Would love to see some footage of that if it hapens.

Interesting. Personally I think Usyk would run Chucky out of the gym.

I know we have been over it before, but could someone explain- will AIBA Pro boxers be able to compete against non- AIBA counterparts.

Both Camarelle and Tervel Pulev are going to be part of this thing, and I imagine a host of others. Does this effectively mean that we are never going to see them fight the Klits?

The current crop of amateur super-heavyweights from the former USSR are potentially dominant pros. It's especially impressive that so many of them are from the Caucasus. I still regret that Timurziev didn't turn pro; he was my favorite.

Usyk didn't get any real offers or interest from US promoters and spparently he's going to start training to compete in the 2013 World Championships. He did say he was going to talk with Vitali and K2 but no word on that yet. God i hope K2 works out because if he stays amateur due to no one being interested in him it would be a ****ing tragedy.

from what i understand no. Pulev is 200lbs and top 10 in the world but not really elite.
