Default 3-0 Swedish HW Southpaw Otto Wallin

Can of the Swedes on here tell me anything about him? Couldn't find a lot of footage to study, only an amateur fight or two. He had a fight today against a well traveled Journeyman and stopped him in 3.

I think Sweeden had a ban on professional boxing. It might have been lifted.

The ban was lifted in 2006 with some restrictions on the fights and limiting the number of rounds. Doctor may stop as well the bout in anytime.
As amateur Walin got 34 wins and 12 losses, he's got 2 brothers and is training with Torsten Shmitz
He must learn a lot, probably S will develop them kind of Gerber's way.

Wallin have a long way I agree.

Between 1970 and 2006 Pro boxing was banned in Sweden.
A fight in Sweden can only last 12 minutes. 24 minutes by special permit(Which has been done a few times)

And with the doctors allowed to stop the fight at anytime, yes.

It might be banned again, after Frida Wahlbergs near fatal knockout at the hands of Diana Prazak back in June.

I've seen that this Wallin lad is scheduled to fight in Bamberg on the 23rd. I'll get a chance to see him in action then.

Anyone know anything about heavyweight Michael Wallisch of Germany. I've seen two of his fights and was impressed with his punching power.

Never seen him in action but I did see him at Klitschko camp last year as a sparring partner (possibly for the Wach fight). He was scheduled to fight Towers at one point but I've read that he's difficult to work with so who knows.

I don't hear/read too much about him so he's probably still with SES. They seem to like to shield their fighters from any publicity for some reason.

Thanks for the update!! He fights very stand up in European traditional sense but has good size and great pop in either hand. Was wondering why he doesn't fight more often, I see on boxrec he's only had 1 fight in 2yrs or so.

I too like Wallisch, but it seems that the guy is not easy to work with. Not sure if he really has the will to get to the top.

Otto Wallin/Tomas Mrazek this Saturday. Good fight for Wallin to get some rounds under his belt, I expect Mrazek to take him the distance.

Wallin by UD. Wallin had some good moments in the third and the very end of the forth.

Wallin looks like he has some potential, moves around the ring well but he's very young and clearly still learning. He's got a good trainer so he'll only get better.

His promoter thinks he needs to work on his punch power and will challenge for a European title in a couple of years. Remember it's only his fourth pro fight but the signs are encouraging.
