An eight fighter British Light Heavyweight Tournament was announced last night with the quarters taking place on the 15th/22nd March, the semis on the 10th May and the final on the 27th September. All on Channel Five.

That's impressive for the time frame- it will be interesting to see what the show on the 15th March does.

My channel 5 thread has been merged with the TV thread but I will try to keep it up to date.

For interest the UFC got 591k viewers on Channel 5 a lot less than the boxing fights.

Here are the viewing figures for channel 5 boxing shows.

James DeGale vs Gevorg Khatchikian Peak 1.5m
Kid Galahad vs James Dickens 858k
Degale vs Zuniga 891k (peak would have been around 1m)
Fury vs Johnson: 1.25m Peak 1.63m
James Degale vs Hadillah Mohoumadi: 1.07m peak 1.7m
Fury vs Maddalone: peak 1.5m
Kid Galahad vs Josh Wale: 847k
Fury vs Rogan: 1.24m
Kid Galahad vs. Jason Booth, Chris Eubank Jr vs Jason Ball: 1.10m
Fury vs Pajkic: 1.66m
Fury vs Firtha: 1.0m (Coverage cut out for most of fight)
Fury vs Chisora: 2.26m Peak 2.9m

Any idea what the first round of the Maxinutrition Knockout on 5 got? Hope it still got a respectable number, the Ajisafe - Francis fight was great and I think if 5 did a bit more to promote the torunament the winner could be a star for them.

There is apparently a Channel Five card featuring Eddie Chambers and Hughie Fury on the 3rd May according to Peter Fury.

Just planning ahead for the Froch fight. I've got some mates coming round mine but don't have Skysports. Was planning to hook my laptop to my Tv, which has Sky Go on it. Does anyone know if you can get Sky Pay per view that way?

HAHAHA

No doubt you'd change the last one now, but **** me if it wasn't obvious to anybody that you're on the payroll they just need to read this (the first thread you started)
