Perhaps Khytrov is also Jewish?

Just an observation, I am not attempting to slur anyone by concluding that a Jewish(Dimity Salita's Star of David Promotions) Promoter would sign a Jewish fighter from the same part of the world.

So lock me up for thinking Khytrov looks Jewish. Actually if this was Germany they no doubt would.

No. He also makes the sign of the cross after fights he's Orthodox.

He won his Gold medal by beating 2012 Olympic Champion Ryoto Murata and scored a KO victory over 2013 World Amateur Champion Alimkhanuly earlier this year among his notable victories. I honestly have never seen an amateur boxer score legitimate knockdows and knockouts against fellow world class compitition as often as Khytrov and that includes Golovkin or Kovalev.

I saw the pro debut. Impressive rand patient puncher he is! To clarify, do you think Khytrov in the amateurs hit harder than Golovkin? If so, wow these Eastern Euro's are producing some of the hardest punching middle weights in the history of the ring.

Yes he's Orthodox, although I think he's so talented, he could sometimes switch to Southpaw.

Waiting to hear his next fight announced. Four fights in five months against entry level opposition, good sign. Phipps was a LHW that moved to SMW now MW, might give Khytrov a good test. The Kennedy fight was a little more competitive than I thought it should be.

Side note, is the Joey Gamache's kid on the undercard?

According to Kalle Helenius (the father/trainer of Robert Helenius) Pulev and Helenius sparred 6 rounds today. Kalle Helenius said in a interview, that " Pulev gave Robert a whooping, nothing worked for Robert".

I already watched this one. This guy was no match for him.
He's only a half-year pro, but he's really impressive.
I think in a year of 2/3, this guy will become a champion and I hope he can revenge his Olympic loss to Ogogo.

He overpowered that guy. Was an impressive win.
I hope he steps up as soon as Beterbiev, because I think he needs bigger competition.

Yeah....no sense holding him back, and getting him stuck in the GGG vortex.

There are fights out there to be made in the top 20, and with only 6 fights, cash shouldnt be an obstacle in getting him fights.

I'd like to see him against a tough vet soon....someone like Duran, Lopez, or Wood. Get a couple wins over top 50 journeymen, then, assuming he comes out unscathed, but gets a few rds under his belt, put him in with some frigne guys like Adama, Fletcher, Proxa and Mora.

No sense in building up a record considering his extensive am career.
Not saying everyone needs to go the Lomachenko route, or the Shumenov route, but even waiting til he's got 18 fights before challenging for a title has proven to be detrimental to GGGs career, as he's now 32, unstoppable, but cant get the fights he needs to prove his ATGness.
