i think hearns would UD him, outboxing him with his lightning jab. but pavlik with his power certainly has a shot.

this is not a fight i´d make any bets on.

Kelly is definitely not the boxer Tommy was, but he does have good power.

I'd definitely give him a chance, especially at 168 or 175.

I would beg to differ, Hearns was never stopped at either 168 or 175 and Pavlik didn't look as good against Taylor fighting at 168.

Pavlik's only chance against Hearns would be to suck him into a war of attrition and knock him out. Hearns at times seemed pyschologically incapable of resisting a war. He loved that shit! However, the most likely outcome would be a Hearns TKO in the late rounds. Tommy would simply outbox Pavlik.

That's actually frightening to think, "what if that was Tommy Hearns in the 2nd round of that first Pav/JT fight?"
