Amateur rules say u must be between 17 and 34 to box. So how can u knock Savon for following the rules and if he cant turn professional why stop before hes 34?

Over all I beleve that Cuban boxing acompolishments are over rated, but the only way to know is if there are more defections/Cuba alows it's boxers to trun pro. The other way is to allow pro fighters to fight in the olympics. Kind of like basketball. Based on what is happing with basketball the United States no longer domanats. Why has the level of American basketball gone down?
No the level of compition has gone up creting a more even playing field. I think the same would happen in boxing.
It is dobutful we will realy know how good Cuban boxers realy are.

One of my favorite Sweet Pea moments. In most of his fights he was so far up, ya had to wonder how he would respond to such a dire situation.....and BOY DID HE REACT WELL!!! 10 straight big right hands and Hurtado was OUT!!! ........OF THE RING!
That was great win by Sweet Pea.

Classic finish.
