Depends on which night they fought. Shavers definately lost to fighters who were no where near Johansen's calibur. Ingemar, on the otherhand was only stopped twice in his rather successful career, but the two stoppages came against Patterson, who's power can't be compared to Shavers. My guess is that Earnie would have a shot during the early rounds . If it went beyond 5, however it would be most likely be Johansen's fight.

both same hieght both the same cruiserwiehgt style frame...but ingo used a straight cross where as shavers used a slightly looping shot.and lunged at you with it.

i say ingo he was a slightly better boxer and prefered to be on the outside where as shavers liked to on the inside where his reach and uppercut where to full effect. ingo would jab him...it's not a great jab but it's a probe to prepare for a right hand. shavers doesnt have the jab to compete he could put a left hand infront of him but it wasnt as much of a punch....

ingo by ko in any round and if it doenst happen a ud

his right hand was quicker and had a better chin...but like it matters with shavers but at least a glancing blow can be shaken off.

Ingo is under rated and beat every man he ever fought. Shavers has a chance of course because of his power and Ingo not being rock chinned, but I would pick Ingo over most Shavers that ever fought. A peak Shavers such as the one that dropped Holmes vs. Ingo would be closer, but I would favor Ingo by late KO.

Whats Ingo 190lb - with Earnie 215lb ? Trouble for Ingo is i do not think that Earnie whats to "Box" I think Earnie licks his Lips and comes at Ingo like he did Norton and Earlier Henry Clark 2nd, I think Earnie flusters Ingo Early does not let him settle, and finds the punch he is looking for, 1st or 2nd round KO for Earnie.

Hurm. Could go either way. Ingo's extremely, extremely powerful... Not as powerful as Shavers, and he's going away a bit of weight...

Ingo has the better record by far but he also had fewer fights.. i'd favor Ingo to knock Shavers out, but it's by no means a given.

Johansson delivers the knockout. Both had devastating power and weak chins, but Johansson was a decent boxer with pretty quick hands and straighter punching.

The dynamic will likley be this-

Shavers will take the fight to Johansen.

Johansens plan will be to draw Shavers onto him and catch him coming in with a short right hand.

Both guys will have to work within the danger zone to get it done so it will be concluded quickly one way or the other.

Um, by that logic, if the 21-24 journeyman Bob Stallings could beat the snot out of Shavers, I don't see why Johansson wouldn't be able to.
