If you think about being fast and having speed, you can improve your speed. Some people are naturally inclined to punch fast, while others have to be a little more conscious of it to improve speed. Like for example...if you walk at a certain pace and your buddy walks at a faster pace, if you think about walking as fast as him you can do it, even though your natural tendency is to walk a little slower.
That's interesting and does make alot of sense. I suppose everything in life is mind over matter in a way.
