If talking about "boxer" as in pure technical boxer (not a brawler/slugger), Packy McFarland deserves a mention, in probably 90% of bouts his opponents were forced to retreat in most rounds of the fight.

i can remember seeing joe frazier grinning while he went toe toe with
jerry quarry.joe really loved to fight and unlike tyson, wasn't a bully. duran was more than a slugger,he had excellent head movement to slip punches(hearns apart) but was still an animal lamotta was a technician when it came to cutting the ring off on an opponent but was that tough that when he was in trouble against the sugarman he offered his large head as a target instead of his body. most aggressive? i'd go with duran |

All styles, divisions and eras have names that reigned supreme in agression. 'Fighting' Harada was a tough cookie. In ya face styled man.
Mancini Duran Fenech Olivares Chacon Langford Burns ...all very agressive in their own moulds. |

No mentions of Jimmy Thunder? Guy really came at you every minute of every round.
Oliver McCall as well. The entire pre-fight psyche up he always did was pretty intense. |
