WTF is Julius playing at?!?!?!?!?! Man i havent trained at Peacocks in a minute but didnt anyone have any sense down there to tell him he stands NO CHANCE in MMA?!?! These days Jules was barely a half decent journeyman and was loosing far more fights at the scales and simply just turning up and now his going to try his hand at MMA? I dont get it his at least 43/44 and lost his last 13 or so fights! I dont recall him winning since he KO`ed Steffen Nielsen and that was at least 3 years ago..

Yeah, Francis has been a bona fide journeyman who turns up out of shape to collect a pay cheque.

What do you think about Vito in it?

Not much really.Vitors best days are long gone. His sisters death put paid to his career dam shame. CR has some big names though il give them that. But i dont think they`ll ever be an org where fans are really going to take note.

What do you think about these small/lesser known orgs coming through now that UFC and Pride are together? K1, Cage Rage etc

Do you think it is inevitable that orgs become present in MMA like they are in boxing?

I have seen quite a few cage rage shows (on tv mainly) and they are quite entertaining but lacking in talent. They have some decent guys and some decent up and comers but the shows have a fair few too many bums (really bad fighters technically).

The likes of VB and Julius are used to gain exposure the same way Butterbean was.

K1 was always a major player in MMA even though K1 Heroes wasnt as popular as PRIDE or the UFC. They will be a force to be reckoned with in the east now that PRIDE has left a huge vacuum. What with the backing they have of there Kickboxing counterpart the K1 they will be a sure fire to make noise.Plus they have huge sums of money and are able to attract big names in MMA with the right contract of course.

CR has never been that big. They lack talent but do have some big names that are able to put them on the map slightly as a major smaller org.But matches between hasbeens like Kimo and David Legeno who is nothing more than a meathead doorman are not the way forward.Cyborg is there along with James Thompson Travis Lutter Lindland and Galosic. But at the same rate they have alot of shot fighters like Kimo vitor and Mark Kerr and a whole load of freak shows like sapp butterbean and journeymen boxers. They can imo be no more than a feeder org.

Are Jean Silva and Imanari still on this card (not fighting each other)?

Those two guys would make it worth the price of admission usually.

I actually knew K1 before UFC and Pride. K1 was just an org I knew ages ago but then UFC became big and Pride came part of the parcel because of looking it up online. However when UFC and Pride hit big, I heard little about K1.
