Teddy Atlas had a great analysis on the cuban fighters ... he said that they have "false discipline" ...
Once they come out of that element, they don't have self discipline ... and thats why you don't have many successful pros out of the cuban boxing system. I like Lara and Rigondeaux out of all of them -- Gamboa is entertaining but I'm in serious doubt of him ... Solis is sloppy ... he needs to lose some weight and take that step up in competition. |

And as for Solis I agree that he needs to lose the spare tire, but only 13 fights and he has the WBC International heavyweight title, thats pretty impressive conidering there are people who have more fights and still havent even been givin a title shot. |

Latest Statement from Rigondeaux.
"When asked why he took so long to make his escape, Rigondeaux said that before he escaped his evil, oppressive dictator, he wanted to make sure we'd gotten rid of ours" |

Within a year and half, Erislandy Lara will be fighting for the Jr MW championship. This guy has great skills. He certainly has a future in professional boxing. Don't sleep on Lara.
