there is a gym around here that if somebody comes in wanting to be a fighter and train that they r forced to fight somebody who has been training there for a while and is usually much bigger than them.
one guy wanted to only train and not even be a fighter and they talked him in to fighting for a shorter amount of time and he thought it was only going to be boxing and dude did some MMA stuff on him and messed him up.
they say their reason for it is to c if the person has the heart to be a fighter.

I understand somewhat if it was a boxing gym. Everyone knows how to punch somwhat... but a fucking mma match? are they crazy!?!? so they bring in a guy who has no idea how to kick/knee/grapple and they put him in for an mma match? i guess the guy must have been talking a whole lot of shit!!! otherwise i cant see anyone doing that to a normal humble guy who just comes their to learn
