I can't see Evander stopping Max, honestly.
If he couldn't stop Bowe after everything he threw at him, how would he stop Max? Guy quit more than anything vs. Louis. He basically took a knee after Louis gave him a beating that easily proved he had an ATG chin. |

Holyfield is a great fighter, and a far more accomplished one that Baer - but while he probably wins a rather wide decision, it is extremely unlikely that he stops a prime Baer. |

Actually, Evander is a man who has the capabilities to stop Mad-cap Maxie.
If there is one thing Bear did not like it was being in a hard fight. Evander stopped you through suffocating tactics. He was not an explosive combination puncher, but he had crisp combinations and they came all the time. He did not blow himself up like Tyson did early on, but rather deployed his bombs steadily, which could grind down the hardest barriers over the right amount of rounds. Bear is the great 'always present danger' while on his feet, but Holyfield would take the fight too him, and then out of him in a foul-laden late TKO or unanimous decision. |

Hollyfield is the right man for Baer. He recovers quickly from the big shot and understands survival in the meantime. Meanwhile he can maul and box his way to a UD.
The only way he loses, for me, is if he gets the plan wrong and brawls. |
