I didnt see his last fight, but i remember he looked beast on the Mosley card when he fought...He taking another long lay off, or is he still fighting or whats the deal?

yeah but it wasnt a great fight alot of jabbing and movoing until somone landed a good enough blow to back off...and repeat.

but yeah he was a great amateur and a decent fighter just too old for it and with all these contractual issues just sapped him of anything less

but anyways lets look out for his brother (unbeaten) tarvis simms

Not only is Tarvis his brother, but he's his IDENTICAL TWIN brother. Scary stuff.

Let's just put it this way though - they're identical twins, yet Tarvis fights 14 lbs heavier. I wouldn't expect him to do too much, not that I've ever seen him fight.

The conspiracy theorist in me says that Tarvis was actually fighting in the Alcine fight, because that's not the same Travis Simms I'd seen in the past.

yeah travis looked like utter shit in his last fight. there could be one more comeback in him but i somehow just dont see him getting the fire back to make another run. Ashame too, i think fights between him and mayweather, de lahoya, forest, etc.. could have been good.

Simms was good, thats not the point. Alcine is better even if peoples still underate him now.
