After initial misgivings, I think it's the best FN yet. The way distance plays such an important part of the fighting now is really nice. And finally the different styles actually feel different, with different strengths and weaknesses. My fighter has just moved up from featherweight to lightweight...my first title win was against Barrera, and he had me down in the first and tenth rounds. But my guy is blessed with an iron chin and stamina (No speed though) and I hung in there, slowly getting back into the fight. I needed a KO to win and managed to knock him down twice in the 12th and force a stoppage...what a bastard of a fight though! I defeated Morales by ninth round stoppage to get 2/3 of the title; his face was a mess and the ref called it off. Okay, I butted him a few times but who's counting? Then I took an 'easy' defence against the 6th ranked guy and he beat the shit out of me. He was just too fast - I barely touched him all night. I was getting so frustrated that I butted him once too often and lost by DQ. Decided to move up after that...I hate those speedy types. |

It'a a really good game. The way the fighter's faces swell up and cut and how important a part in the fight it becomes is great. Between rounds you have to decide where to spend the points you've earned, either on getting back health, stamina or fixing your fighter's bloody face. Great stuff.

yeh the corner game seemed it had potential but the demo was only 3 rounds
i cant wait for the legacy mode looks amazing ill probably have it wednesday i hope. does the game translate well into 12 x 3 min rounds, as in FNR3 it was too much time to take your opponent out so when me and my brother played we did 1 or 2 min rounds and about 8 of them to make it last the distance |

Heres a ?, in my legacy mode the rounds are sped up for some reason. Each round only takes a minute and a half. I looked in the settings and nothing is weird, is that just normal
![]() During the exhibitions/Fight Now the rounds are normal time. |
