Default Top 100 Heavyweights of All-Time

Does a list like that exist? I thought Ring Magazine had it but I must've been wrong because I can't find it. Does anyone here have an extended ranking of heavyweights past their top ten? I'm particularly interested in seeing lists that go up to 30 or 50, even up to 100 if someone has actually got so far.

It interests me to see where people rank guys like The Klitschkos, Michael Moorer, Max Baer, Max Schmeling, Ezzard Charles, Jersey Joe Walcott, all the heavyweights Sonny Liston went through before defeating Patterson, same with Holmes and Tyson, how the guys who they took on are seen.

I know there's a lot of heavyweight threads out here but I think this is the first thread I ever made here and I hope to get as many replies as possible, thank you.

That list ain't to cool.

I think a top 100 list is silly. Keep it top 10.

A top 100 list is pretty much impossible for HW. I did a top 50 last summer and it was hard work and it was really hard to seperate anyone from about 35-40 onward.

With a top 100 list there's really not much seperating the guy you have 90th with the guy you have at 60th. Not more than a dozen or so HW's have real impressive resumes so ranking the rest comes down to your own biases/opinion really.

I could post my top 50 though if you want it

Ali is numero uno.

Turns out my top 50 was saved on my labtop which just broke, so sadly I can't post it ATM. I have a rough draft saved on this computer though so in a day or two I'll post my top 50 HW's after rearranging some of the names

Jesus and I thought I was harsh on him. And poor Holyfield being ranked #3 in 1998. Should've retired maybe. Holyfield might be an underrated HW.

That is the problem with rating active fighters...

The magazine's list is not without value; I would not agree with all of it. But it very unlikely any two persons/organizations lists would be the same anyway.

I do know the boxing knowledge that went into that list, surpasses any one individuals here. But of course, boxing and the ratings in boxing is so subjective!

Well in 98, this was before the Lewis fights, and Holyfiled just beat Tyson 2 times, and Moore.

At the time, I thought Holyfiled might have been top 3 lol.

But looking back at it, That is way 2 high for Holyfiled. I also think Rocky should be rank over Holmes.
