Fair play for knowing Jones lost to him though.

How do you think Carl would do against Jeff Lacy or Roy Jones?

Lacy would get knocked out for the first time and Jones would too. Jones could put him on his arse though, but Froch would get up and finish him off.

All 3 guys have a lot of power

Froch defence is awful

Froch vs Lacy i think would be a barn burner

Froch would win a UD against Lacy
Froch would be likely to stop Jones, but Jones is a live fighter for the first 4 rounds, so Froch could be taken out.

I'm always gonna sound biased talking about him with this avatar, but I honestly think he'd knock both of them out. Lacy has been proven to be mediocre at best in his last few performances and as we all know, Jones is past his peak. A prime Jones on the other hand I think would embarrass Froch.

By the way, young Gregory seems to be ignoring the Choi thread and is staying in the classic forum...

Froch vs Lacy would have it's moments but they;re NOT on the same level. Jones don't throw many power shots hardly, but when he does they hurt.... but he wouldn't be able to keep it up at his age against a live world class opponent like Froch.

Let me tell you that Froch has a much better defence than Lacy aswell. Lacy isn't world class, neither is Jones, although he still has some shades of it left in him, but Froch is entirely world class. enough said really.

You ain't related to anyone called John are you Radab?

The classic is great so we should just leave him.... or we can just cyber stalk him into coming back?

Nothing wrong in that - a prime RJJ embarrasses pretty much every fighter ever at 160-168, including Calzaghe.

The only exceptions to this are the likes of Hagler, Monzon, SRR, etc. and Roy has a chance of beating these fighters as well.

Calzaghe would destroy Hagler and Monzon at 168lb. He was probably faster than them as well as being bigger too. Jones vs Calzaghe is a tough one, most choose Jones but Calzaghe was fast and accurate enough to catch Roy more often than most.... Joe has a great chin and would take Roy's best shots early on and in the later rounds Calzaghe would have a good chance I think.
