How would this end? A 1982 version of Hearns, fairly new at 154 and had just won the WBC-title from Benitez vs The Hearns who clearly beat Leonard in a Super Middleweight title-fight although he weighed closer to 160.

I have never seen this question asked. The 1982 Hearns was fast and was not hit as much as the 1989 Hearns. I think the 1982 Hearns wins in the 3rd or 4th round. I hate to say it.

The problem is Hearns fighting a Hearns kind of fighter, whoever lands first wins. I don't think Tommy could take his own right hand. Not many people could, but that is a big right.
