[quote=janitor;4981463]I already attempted to do this in another thread.

I posted Klitschko Peter and then posted Sharkey Carnera II for comparison.

What the footage suggested was that Carnera employed verry similar tactics to Klitschko and might have been a little more versatile in some aspects.

What also came across was not the difference between Klitscko and Carnera but the difference between Sam Peter and Jack Sharkey. I submit that Carnera would have overcome the version of Sam Peter that Vitally fought verry convincingly and that that Vitally would have had a more competitive fight with the version of Jack Sharkey that Carnera beat than he did with Peter.[/quote well larry donald empolyed very similar tactics to mumhamad ali! so donald is as good as ali?????????

FFS Wlad looks more like a 250lb Joe Louis than a Carnera. Vitali yes but he is still a load better than both. And I'm not a Klit fan

I should think Attell would be assimilated easily into Carnera's coterie, as he was in several fixed fights ,carried numerous opponents for betting purposes, and along with Wilson Mizner ,[Ketchel's one time manager,]and Arnold Rothstein ,fixed the World Series.

Convince me. I'm very gullible--I promise.
The obvious difference is in power Vitali does not possess that one punch dynamite that Carnera exhibited against Sharkey.

There is no comparison other than size, and even on that one they are built differently.

Carnera was easier to hit, could take flush shots to the chin well, and lacked a comanding jab and follow up right hand.

Vitali hit harder, had better defense, was more active, smarter, etc...
