Barrera didn't anything to cause that knockdown. No more should be said on it from my point of view.

Barrera won the fight for me. He hurt Morales in rounds 7, 9, and 12. Hurt to the point of almost "going", by Morales' own admission.

Addie, Ive seen your scorecard for the 1st fight, it seems reasonable, even tho I had Morales winning it was a close & hard to score fight.

If you have time, Id like to see your cards for the 2nd & 3rd fights because Im baffled how you came up with a draw in fight 2 & a CLEAR Barrera win in fight 3.

I know my cards for all 3 fights in my head anyway (sad but true) as Ive seen the trilogy a ridiculous amount of times.

Addie, Ive seen your scorecard for the 1st fight, it seems reasonable, even tho I had Morales winning it was a close & hard to score fight.

To be honest mate, I have no problem with anyone scoring the fight for Morales. He was busier, and anyone who took the shots that Marco landed that night, deserves universal respect. That was the best version that ever existed of Marco, that night, in my opinion. He had a great night against Hamed, but Barrera vs Morales I was the best of Marco. He went toe to toe with fellow ATG in his prime. Hamed was no ATG.

If you have time, Id like to see your cards for the 2nd & 3rd fights because Im baffled how you came up with a draw in fight 2 & a CLEAR Barrera win in fight 3.

I'll rescore the fight tomorrow mate. I lent my DVD to a friend, but there's a really great pristine version that I will be obtaining soon, if you know what I mean. In all likelihood, I might come out with a slight win for Morales second time round (I've only ever seen this fight the one time), but I'll be honest about it.

I thought the third fight was a close but clear win. I remember my scorecard almost off hand, but I'll rescore it just for you, Bill. I can do this one tonight, so stay tuned.

Point taken. You're not the only one who had it a draw, Jim Watt also gave enough rounds to Morales to make it even. I can't envision anyone scoring Morales a victory in this though, that would be crazy too me. I want to rewatch fight 2, it's just frustrating hearing the commentators and the crowd all being disappointed, thinking they were going to see a war again.

Do what I do mate, watch with 0 sound in contraversial fights, Ive watched the whole trilogy (not straight thru, I take a break between fights obviously ) like that numerous times, it prevents you from being swayed subconsciously by commentators in close rds.

Ps. fight 2 is a must to watch with no sound for the reasons you mentioned, what you see is a high level boxing match that only gets better the longer it goes, trust me, its a good fight when you dont have morons spoiling it with their shit commentary.
