I picked Mayweather-Hatton, but I have to also say Tayler and Pavlik.
The least exciting to me: Wlad-Brewster.... Wlad should win easily. He was beating the hell out of Brewster in their first fight and had tons of excuses for his loss. Brewster is coming off a bad defeat and Klit is riding high. Early KO is he has a hair on his as. If he loses or this even goes the distance, the audience should lynch him... and Manny, too, for making him fight like a scared girl. Pac-Soto doesn't interest me, either. I think Soto is good and all, but not in the league of Manny. Maybe I'll be surprised.... He got a good style matchup against Juarez, and I think that was a pretty close fight that Rocky would win on a rematch. Beating Bobby Pacquiau isn't really that big a deal. |

I picked 2 but only one registered.
Anyway I picked Sultan/Chagaev and Taylor/Pavlik. The Sultan/Chagaev should be exciting because both fighters have shown movements, athleticism and power. Te first unification for the HW after such a long time. The Taylor/Pavlik? Taylor hasn't been impressive since getting the belt from Bhops and this is the first time he is going up against a real banger in Pavlik. I'm just curious how it's gonna play out. |

Mayweather-Hatton is the most important fight in the sport. Mayweather is finally well known cos of the ODLH fight and Hatton is big in Europe and a bit known in the States. People know how good they are, it wouldn't matter that no belt is on the line.
ODLH did not pick his punches well vs Mayweather. Hatton will be more accurate. However, if his head movement ain't at its 2005 and earlier best, he is gonna get tagged clean often. those factors will make for a close, exciting fight. the last time this fight had the potential to be huge was two years ago. It has that potential again right now. This fight must be made. |
