No, I don't want to hear about some tomato can who flopped down in the first few rounds when things got rough to avoid a serious beating when they knew they were outclassed.
Fighters who truly could not take a shot, who were usually stone cold fucking out when a good punch landed. Ezra Sellers had a terrible chin. He could pick his ass up off the canvas but he had a Hearn's like build but less of a chin. All of his 8 losses were via TKO. Carl Thompson fought a guy called Hastings Rasani and he hit him with a right hand. A single one, went down hard. Always struck me as being very fragile. His own countrymen said he had a porcelain chin shortly afterwards. Speaking of Brit power punchers, Pele Reid was chinny as shit. Massive power, but when he went down he went down hard, from kickboxing to boxing his chin was always crap. No generic answers please. |

Tippy Larkin and Tiger Flowers were both excellent craftsmen who were susceptible to being sparked out. Great fighters though that weren't amongst the all time worst in terms of punch resistance.

His chin isn't like Marciano's, but it's a long way from Ezra Sellars'. |

LOL
But to answer the thread with as little a cliche as possible; Tom Collins was a big punching British Light Heavyweight, who had a habit of getting knocked out at the most inappropriate moment. Lloyd Honeyghan's chin was never the same after the fight with the Magic Man. Edwin Rosario was the classic hit or get smoked himself type. |

Edwin Rosario's chin situation was really weird...he was hurt and stopped numerous times, but was he ever decked? I don't ever recall that he was ever knocked down.

Think you guys are underated Wlad's chin a bit.
Sure it is not iron, but I dont think its glass either. He was never counted out, and always got up from a knockdown.(Save from Brewster. Amd the ref didnt give him time imo, on a punch AFTER the bell) Like I said, its not a great chin, but its not pure glass either. I think I put it on Patterson's level. You can knock em down, and unless your Liston like power, you wont put em down for the count. |

As for being decked, I am sure the Japanese geezer did, and the ropes saved him with Ramirez. |
