Russ Anber is okay but a moron when it comes to punching while moving. Of course you should learn to punch while moving. Ideally you would throw a shot with your feet planted but it's totally ineffective in a real life punch up. For every punch, you can usually get your most power with your feet planted but some people can get more power stepping into the jab.

Learn how to jab while stationary and moving in every direction.
