Now I'm not claiming to be any kind of expert here. I do, however enjoy reading about body mechanics and such, especially to do with sports training in general.
Anyway, I just wanted to say to anyone who does weights to please NOT do punches with excessive weights. Some slightly weighted gloves are good, but for the love of God don't grab a 10kg dumbbell and start throwing jabs and straight rights with it You're doing nothing to help your cause and will most likely fuck up your punching technique by ruining the natural mechanics. The whole point of weight-training is to improve the strength and power of your muscles so that any punches you do throw with that great technique will be stronger.Just some friendly advice borne out of seeing this day after day at my gym
