Appleby has huge holes in his game but he is still very young and can develop into a real British/European talent.
i think you will find paul will have 2 or 3 warm up fights then go for a domestic title.good luck to him a very nice guy.

pauls contract with gilmour was up , and no one is to blame for what happened to paul in belfast , what happened happened . It is just time for paul to see what else is out there for him what another manager/promoter can offer him and maybe further his career or take him in another direction paul isnt sure yet what he wants to do with his career he is just waiting and seeing what else is out there for him . So no one is to blame for how pauls career has gone , There are things closer to home that need to be looked at to see what and how paul is gonna develope in the future.

I thought Gilmour did a good job with him.

Matched him properly, got him a British title and a decent name for a first defence, plus a payday for the Lindsay fight.

I'd hardly say he was rushed. Too many fighters are held back for a ridiculous length of time. Just because Appleby lost to a very good operator doesn't mean his promoter got it wrong.
