Default Best style for my height?

I know this would be kinda hard to say what the best style would be, but i'm 6'2 and weigh aroun 165 170.

What would the ideal style be? Offensive and deffensive.

The style that will work best for you is whatever you come up with.

If anyone could see a style and emulate it we would be seeing Mike Tyson vs. Muhammad Ali every PPV.

Find what will work best for you and create your own style.

You'll settle into a style after a good deal of sparring. A hundred rounds or so, some say. it really depends very little on your height/weight and more on your temperament, strengths, and weaknesses. Look at Martinez vs. Williams...no way you would expect Sergio to be the guy dominating range, but he was.

So yeah, just do lots of work and sooner or later you'll find yourself falling into the same sort of rhythm and habits.

learn everything, fighting at range, fighting in close, fighting off angles. Dont just use one style you will become too predictable. Every opponent is different and what will work with one opponent may not work aswell against another opponent. You need a plan B and C if plan A doesnt work. Learn the science buddy dont become one dimensional.
For your height and weight in theory you would be a range fighter but being tall those uppercuts will land sweet on a shorter guy in close. So learn it all man.

It's more to do with personality and character than physical properties. You're about Pavlik and Hearns height. But to mimic their style you'll need an incredible amount of of determination, conditioning and ability to withstand punishment.

Traditionally your kind of dimensions might favour a counter puncher in the boxers range.

Whatever you train with, you can't go wrong with a good jab, you'll be facing a lot of shorter opponants.

Far too little info, many factors such as power and chin should be considerd.
