Hey guys, I've looked for info on the internet but can't find anything.
I've started boxing again after 1.5 years of rest (had boxed 4 years before that) and have been training steadily now for a good 3 weeks. Today I did a good bag workout-quite intense. Got back home to find my left bicep divided in 2, there is a sort of lump on it when I contract my muscle, although there is no pain yet, i do feel some very mild pain when i contract... any suggestions what this could be? |

try looking up "trigger points". These are knots in the muscle and can be massaged out easily. Otherwise, they may go on to cause other knots and "referred pain" in other areas.

ice it and go to your doctor. It might be serious it might only need rest, ice and support. Trigger points are usually tender areas in the muscle which cause pain elsewhere when massaged. Go to your doctor and get a proper diagnosis.
