not even close , hatton has quicker feet , but squares up too much leaving himself too much of a target , Calzaghe on the other hand is really smooth and can fight going backwards , to be able to do this you need excellent foot work. Calzaghe by a long way.

Great fighter, great footwork, but you would never see him on the backfoot jabbing away, that doesnt mean he is shit, just thats not the way the man can fight BUT, watch Hatton v Tackie. Hatton fought the fight on the backfoot at times and his footwork was great that night. As for the two fighters. Calzaghe is the better fighter, but Hatton does have the better footwork. |
