For some assholes, Hatton will never get respect no matter who he faces.

What if it completely goes the opposite way and Hatton should actually be the one who 'abuses' Floyd for 12 rounds?. (before you say its not ever gonna happen...Hattons not gonna be anywhere near the sort of underdog Buster Douglas was against Tyson and we all know what happened there)
If Hatton was to land the sort of bosyshot like he did last time out then Floyd will also be on his ass unable to breath

Hatton has already got my respect, I think he's great in and out of the ring. Putting his perfect record at stake to fight the very best in the sport would definitely gain him even more respect, win or lose.

Nicely summed up. How many modern day fighters would put their pride, ego and unbeaten record at stake against what many consider to be a far superior opponent, at the same time probably conceding weight advantage, location and money to get the fight made? Not many, if any at all is the answer.

Even if he is beaten badly, at the end of the day its PBF and until one of the other contenders beats him a loss to the p4p king isnt shameful especially if he lost but then went on to beat other contenders..

no, and why should he? thats like saying everyone who fights mayweather should gain more respect. They're fighters, only natural for them to fight the best to be the best...respect is given to those who prioritize legacy rather than money..those who'd rather go out losing while trying to elevate his game than of those who's scared to lose a title..

i posted a thread saying the same thing,Hatton haters will keep hating and making excuses no matter what!

If Hatton so much as loses a close decision then he will have been "totally outclassed" in the eyes of many of the people on here, Hatton could knock Floyd out 3 times in a row but all that would happen then is that PBF's career would be discredited.
