If he had got straight up then it would have been a point docked which at that point of the fight would have been immaterial Abraham knew he needed a KO.
Dirrell was not ko'd like he made out that was farcical but AA should not have hit him.

If the DQ is nailed on justified, why didn't Barrett get the same treatment when he lumped Haye flush when David was sat on his arse...storm in a teacup over a little tap that the little bitch made the absolute most of. AA shouldn't have done what he did, but Dirrel should have been thrown out for being a complete cunt

It was definitely a DQ, but I don't think the punch was a cynical one - not in the same league as Barrera's one on a downed Marquez.

Not a chance the decision will be overturned. But with the benefit of hindsight and replays the correct decision would be a no contest. Cos what that yellow backed, cheating cunt did was far far worse than the instinctive 'slap' that Abrahams was guilty of.

AA deserves to be DQ'd. I'm wondering weather AD made the most of it as well though. And that falling over he does to avoid getting hit needs to be sorted out by a strong ref. Twice in a row he's pulled that shit.

Someone referred to him as the Drogba of boxing the other day.
