Steve can u look at the following then ask the questions to the appropiate people on ur radio show .
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbeREAjybs8[/ame] [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] you would think it be a great hatrick wins over Aston , Perkins and Ogogo to win the title again , But they will still pick the Repton boxer Frank Buglioni who has not won a ABA title i dont think he has ever gotten out of the London area Finals i may be wrong. But to Have 2009 ABA Champion not selected for funding podium or development is a joke , the kid has just beaten Ryan Aston a funded boxer and last weekend beat 2 time ABA Champ and world Bronze medalist Neil Perkins in the Semis , He Now meets Junior world champion Anthony Ogogo in the final win or lose he should be seen as kid that should be on funding. Aston, Garvey, Perkins , Burton , Ogogo all entered the ABAS to see who was the best . Buglioni never how can he warrant Podium funding when he wont get in the mix. Thanks |

if the repton lad has been in the squad for a while and had alot of money spent into development i doubt they'd want to pull him out

I don't follow the ams at all any more but years ago it never seemed to hurt a boxers case with the ABA if he was a Repton fighter.

I've got two boxers on - nobody from the ABA. I will and I have asked the questions about selection.
Agogo is in the squad and he's just done Garvey in a round ...Garvey gave Burton a boxing lesson last year in Liverpool. Burton beat Garvey in the final. Nothing is black and white in boxing. If Burton wins next Friday against Agogo it gets interesting. Adios and make sure you listen or contact the show or use the BBC iPlayer. |
