Lockyyer, thurston, Slater, Smith all calling the shots & setting up plays, impossible to stop.
The big difference that makes this team truelly great is that most teams of the past, if you put too many play makers in the one team it would be detrimental, it would confuse sides & nobody would know who was running the show, this team runs like a well oiled machine, these blokes actually compliment each other |

Nice to see a bit of biffo back in there. Surprisingly good game, even if it was all one way traffic.
NSW had absolutely nothing in attack. That's what they get for ignoring the likes of Soward, Sutton, Jennings, Farah, Bird...Just embarrassing how they keep favoring and going back to the same shitty bunch of players who offer nothing but size like Cooper, Barrett, and Monaghan, LOL.. what the **** did he do to deserve a call up in the 2 games he played all year? The other Morris boy or Nathan Merritt were more deserving of a place. They picked players based on their supposed defensive abilities and size, yet they got torn a new one. It was also good to see their grubs selection policy backfire on them with O'Donnell's disgusting piece of work, and Gallon's decapitation attempt. They're both gaaa***n. Only wish the other major grub Ennis did something stupid, but he seems to have toned down his grubiness. Must be why he didn't play alot of the second half..dumbass selectors, it's obvious they need Farah in the ruck Anyway I was ****ing stoked. Hoped it would be 50-0 before the game to shame the selectors into sacking themselves. 34-6 was sweet enough, though was gutted with the NSW try as they will use it to justify Mitchell Pearce's selection and pat themselves on the back, even though he did **** all. The only reason they picked Pearce was because they see him as the future number 7. He did not deserve to be there. Hell Luke Walsh has done more than him since he joined the Panthers. The best NSW half the last couple seasons has been Soward, hands down. He should be playing at either 6 or 7, there are no more excuses for snubbing him. If they don't pick him in game 3, I'll give up and call myself a QLDer |
