HELL to the YEAH.

It's a LONG overdue fight anyway. It would be somewhat tainted because (as per his usual M.O.) Floyd would be facing Cotto after he had been in wars and was faded and well past his best, "freshest" days. Therefore, I could definitely see this scenario playing out. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised to see Floyd NEVER fight Pacquiao, take the rest of this year off, and face Cotto early next year after he beats Margo in their rematch.

i think the only way this fight would interest me, is if floyd loses to pac and cotto beats Marg. Like someone else said, i dont see many actual challenges for FMJ if he beats pac. Maybe Martinez/Williams at 160 (whoever is the champ at that point).

Let's face it, if he manages to convincingly defeat Manny Pacquiao, why would a fight with Cotto (who Pacquiao annihilated) be of any interest? Really, I find myself asking, where is the challenging, casual fan-freindly $20M+ payday matchup for Floyd Mayweather after a Pac fight?
People would buy the Cotto fight, but I agree...nothing left to prove down there.

Floyd is going to have to go up in weight to do anything impressive if he beats Pac.

Maybe Paul Williams or Martinez.
