What do you think about the fact that many MMA fighters seem to like to........?
What do you think about the fact that many MMA fighters seem to like to keep there hands down or at best away from there chin. I know that in some ways that probably comes from a lot of Muay Thai influence . Also I know that it's makes you able to throw crazy combination's. Do you really think it is the best thing or do you think it's a good example of how MMA fighters are not usually as good as top level strikers? I don't know about the any of it really. I just think what I thionk but I'm open to the truth what ever that may be [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] |

It's true. One of the original investors in UFC 1 was a filmmaker named John Milius. Milius was responsible for either writing or directing a lot great "guy movies" such as Magnum Force with Dirty Harry and Conan the Barbarian. This is pure speculation on my part - but I attribute the alligator filled moat idea to Milius.
