i laugh but not out loud just smile after they say it.
Though i did go to 4 karate lesson with my mate for a laugh. But it all about self defense and to get away. Ill rather prefer to stay at kick boxing. |

I don't laugh at any man who trains in punching and kicking someone.
Karate is effective but more so for athletic, agile, quick fightes. For a more generally effective striking art I would choose boxing, kickboxing, muay thai etc |

"cro cop doesnt kick properly" "bruce lee would have beaten anyone" that sort of shit really ****ing bugs me. |

Most black belts I have known couldn't fight for shit...the few who could fight largely didn't use the karate shit...they would punch more like boxers and not that goofy hands at ribs..stright out punch shit...

The fact that 9 times out of 10 times it is worthless...its supposed to be a fighting form...and most karate...espically what you get in most McDojo strip mall karate...I know their are some real fighting forms of karate...but most of what you get is bullshit.

Not really. But I do laugh at idiots making daft threads mocking someones skill and dedication to a particular disipline which has evolved over centuries.
But then again you'd know all about dedication, making 800 posts since August. I bet you keyboard skills are really effective in a fight. I bet you'd take Machida no sweat. Submission via space bar tap to the head round 1 |

I know a guy that studied Karate in Okinawa and recieved a BB.
I consider that an accomplishment, and I would be proud of that myself. |

Yea and given the fact that its in okinawa its likely legit...but most black belts you can get if you put in time...lots of half speed form work that means shit if you never apply it full contact...and lots of money...that's most karate.
