What he didn't have was the second and third shots that used to follow straight after the first big one. Tyson was a big puncher but in his prime it was the big combos that got the fighters out of there. By the time of Williams fight he was reduced to pot shotting single punches which allowed his opponents time to colloect themselves that they wouldn't have got in Tysons heyday.

Funnily enough it was across the road from Futures although I hadn't been there that night. Germany had just knocked England out of the World Cup on penalties and I was "venting" my upset on a passing police car....
