I guess you got nothing from that video

Granted the bout won't be won or lost on focus pads in a video. But have you ever seen Green on the pads Ash?

Green has more speed but less power...but when you watch video of both fighters fight Flores is the better boxer

IMO Green will still win

I believe Green will win to, but may have to dig deep against the bigger man.

As far as their pad-work goes, admittedly only based on that one video of Flores, Green is vastly superior.

It looked like Flores was trying too hard to demonstrate he had some power, and just loaded up and loaded up.

Part of the reason Flores has been inactive is because he has been calling out the bigger names in cruiser (i.e. Cunningham), but none feel he has earnt a shot. I read that he believes this is his ticket to the next level or else he'll seriously consider MMA where he will get a steady flow of fights.

If he takes a dive, it kind of hurts both his options. While the IBO isn't on the same level as the other 4, it still has some legitamacy (i.e. Pacquiao has a belt, and W Klitschko has a belt)

Flores is a good test, but I think he has been overhyped simply on size:

From the limited amount of information we have, his last fight was against Mendoza. To put that length of time in perspective Green has gone from hero to villain over his last 3 fights. It's hard to say how the inactivity will effect. He did spar with David Haye for his fight against Ruiz, but other than that not much else.

BJ has also ever fought 3 12-rounders and 2 10-rounders, whereas Green has been at that level since 2003. The longer the fight goes, the greater Green has a chance of wearing him down and getting a KO.

Size wise I'd also like to point out the fact that Green has sparred with heavies before (i.e. Toney), and Flores isn't known to be a massive puncher or likes to impose his strength or weight on opponents so I don't see this as being that big a factor.

From the limited footage, Flores has decent technique, but nothing eye-catching. He appears to be hesitant in trading big shots, and combined with his lack of 12-round experience I expect him to be on his bicycle after 6 or 7 rounds, with the fight uncompetitive after that.

Expecting Green to win a UD or a TKO in the last 2 rounds.

Without putting too fine a line on it, Green has fought 12 rounds in total in the past 3 years. Flores has fought 29 rounds in the same period.

This is how I feel, don't trust Green at all.

I suspect that Green will mop up Flores pretty quick.

Danny Green's American sparring partner American Mike Wilson may settle here.

Mike Dann's betting agency is offering $7.50 for a B.J. Flores win.
