I still don't see him as the best of these guys but maybe he'll prove me wrong. |

Some Euro heavy news:
Olukun TKO's Airsch in the third, but Erken Teper, one of the guys on my list, got his second win with a blow out of Alexander Kahl. Airsch just can't quite get it together. Neither can Gebenga, for that matter. |

Hope you all don't mind me bumpin my own thread, but there have been some new developements on the Europan heavyweight scence, and I would like to turn this in the official thread on the subject.
As being reported on the front page, Wach is being trained now by Michael Moorer, who wants to teach the man to use his power! This is an aesome development to me, as Wach is a guy I have had my eye on. He is huge, somewaht talented and experienced, and having a former champ teach him to maximize his skills may be exactly what he needs. Here is a link to a former page we had going on the man: ***********.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=240677 In other news: Boytsov has another hand injury. Jisi reports that it may be career threatening, although other reports are that we will not know until January Pianeta has beaten cancer! Congratulations. He recently came back with a win agaisnt Mike Middleton. Boxrec has Ondrej Pala in the top 20, and Edmund Gerber in the top 25. |

I think Helenius is underrated here.. He have all the tools to be a great champion: He is very tall (200cm), Nice jab, well schooled, amazingly powerful right hand and he also knows how hit to the body.. And his timing with his punches!! Woaah.. Knockdown against Brewster was amazingly timed right hand and the way he put Attila down was beatifull..
But I think that size is the most important thing cause I think he is using it pretty well.. I think he has some great potential to be a great champion! [ame]***********.youtube.com/watch?v=--JwO3XRyUQ[/ame] |

I'd be interested to know also. I've read about him elsewhere but can't recall where it was. I think he's around 6 ft 7 and was born in 1990.
BTW South Korea sent a HW to the games and Park Sung-Keun at SHW. Also apparently the fight with Zhang Zhilei was close with Dychko ahead early on. |

Thanks for bumping it. Some of the latest developments are that Boytsov is haveing some serious hand problems, Povetkin might fire Teddy Atlas, Andrzej Wawrzyk has some new managment, and Pianeta successfully came back after cancer.

New and interesting fight made with two of the lesser knowns on this thread:
Yakup Saglum 27 (24)- 0 is going to fight Michael Wallisch 6(4)-0 on April first. Saglum's best career win seems to be Marcel Zeller, whiles Wallisch has yet to beat anyone of name. So the winner takes a real step up. |
