The line up for this is actually pretty good.
75 on Lawton as the odds are good and I've wasted most of my vCash on Martinez/Williams. |

Lawton: A pre-Roach/pre-Prescott Khan victim. He's probably faced the best class out of anyone else, but has been stopped enough times that you have to question his chances in a knockout elimination tournament. He drew Gary Sykes, who is probably a big h2h favorite in that individual match-up. Sykes: Young, undefeated, gutsy, busy (in a steady, one-gear kind of way) and awkward - those are the pros...plus, he recently passed the test in a big step up in class (passed, didn't ace). The cons are that he's pretty sloppy, couldn't crack an egg, and is a bit of a Rocky Juarez when it comes to intensity amplification...and he's had to boil off some blubber to make weight in the eleventh hour at least once. Buckland: My boy. He put up one of the ballsiest losing performances of the year against John Murray back in May. This was up there with Darchinyan-Guerrero, Kessler-Andrade, that sort of thing. Just epic heart and sticktoitiveness despite being absolutely bombarded by a higher class of boxer. A small token wager on him is pretty much a moral imperative (unless you're a British poster and already feel it's a moral imperative to bet on Choi). I honestly don't know much about the rest, other than having heard a couple of the names bounced around by British posters. |
