Default Going to have my first fight.

First amateur bout in a couple of months! Im so ****EN EXITED!!!!
I love boxing more then anything.
The thing that concerns me is that i think it will be a tournament (90% sure).
How do the tournaments look/work like?
Im 57 and i weigh usually 61 kg. Will try losing 4 kg to make the featherweight division.
All suggestions are highly wanted.

Get some good balanced training, and make sure you really focus on the boxing technique in the gym. Eat a completely clean diet, it will boost your performance and probably boost your mental preparation too. Leave nothing to chance.

Tournaments are simple, lose and you're out. Win and you advance, with the possibility of winning the tournament.

Good luck on your first fight mate. Train hard and leave everything in the ring so there will be no regrets, win or lose.
