Golovkin says his contract with them is over, Universum says it's not. Universum got an interim ruling in their favor a couple weeks ago, which is why they had to move the Tapia fight from Panama to Kazakhstan. They've had lawsuits with most of their top fighters over the last few years, but most of them settled (Sturm, Dzinziruk, Erdei, etc.)

Thanks for the information...those things are always complicated. You can do without the big historical promoters if you are big enough yourself (as the Klitschko did with K2) but leaving too soon can be a mistake. Golovkin was probably impatient but I am not sure he made the good choice.
