Cunningham & Sylvester Jan 22nd -= Thoughts

Cunningham against Licina, has Enad got anything to trouble USS can't see it really, the only query for me is how Cunninngham wins, whats Licina's chin like can he last the distance.

Sylvester's Foe is a new one on me, some of the French guys are decent enough, anyone seen this boxer, how do you see it going

Hopefully Cunningham can pass this test and we can have Cunningham-Huck soon. It would be good for the division to have a Ring champ, a clear 'man' at the top, and Cunningham-Huck would provide that. It might even be a mixed blessing for Cunningham that Huck got the nod over Lebedev (though if Sauerland is to believed, Lebedev will get another title shot if the cruiser Super 6 gets going).

Also, Pulev will box again....according to Boxrec his opponent is Zavaorotnyy; the guy Dimitrenko beat up for the EBU belt.

It's a Euro level fight for Sylvester. Even if he was beaten by Belghecham in the French tournament I think Bouadla is now #2 in France. His level of opposition has been correct recently with convincing victories over decent opponents. In fact he has no real strong points but no major flaws. He is dedicated and he has improved progressively. Problem is that he has average power and it's unlikely he stops or even hurts Sylvester. He works with his jab and Sylvester's jab is better imo.
Bouadla should logically lose on points but he can look competitive. Hakkar vs Hopkins was a mismatch but here it's different : Sylvester is a titleholder, not the boss of the division...

Cool, root for Cunningham for me . Funny I just booked a flight in March and the option was Brussels or Milan (for 275 from nyc), my girl picked Milan BUT if i can swing it the summer is my choice (berlin/boxing)!
