Both have fairly sound chins, but Hatton has a semi-questionable ribcage... hmmm.

Zak, do you have a ranking system for how well guys can take it to the body?

It will be hard for Zak here because he cannot point to chins.

Well, I certainly like to emphasize the chin thing, but there are some fights where it is not a major factor, and this is certainly one of them.

There was some other thread where I offered a detailed analysis of this fight, but basically, I see Hatton trying to pressure Mayweather, and Mayweather using his superior speed and movement to largely evade Hatton's aggression and to potshot him from the outside.

Given that both guys have demonstrated pretty solid beards, and neither is a particularly hard hitter at this weight, I don't see either guy getting a stoppage - which places Hatton at a significant disadvantage, because this is likely the one way he could win.

However, although I see Mayweather winning a pretty wide decision, somewhere along the lines of 117-111, it will be a COMPETITIVE ud, in that Hatton, because of his forward movement and consistent punching, will be in every round. That said, although the rounds may be close, Mayweather will win most of 'em - and he will win the fight.
