All you guys that think that Zaveck is the one that is avoiding better opponents then you are wrong...next fight he will have to fight against one of the top guys like marciano22 said.

Not Delgado`s fault that he was 15th at the WW rankings of IBF and got a chance for the belt. I know i wasn`t happy with him as opponent of Zaveck but hey, Zaveck got just like Delgado a chance to win the belt and he did in South Africa (he was 15th or 13th of IBF at that time).

Best possible money fight would be against Berto on HBO. A tough fight for Zavec and probably not pretty to watch due to strategy Berto would use...

There's no chance for Pacman fight, but that would be a good action fight until it lasted.

Honestly, Zavec probably makes better money in Slovenia now than in any USA fight, except if it's on HBO or Showtime.

Hmmmmm Paulie Malignaggi had two fight against Paul Delgado and both won on points (Delgado said he was robbed in both fights)...and Malignaggi called out Zaveck few months ago...I think he change his mind after Zaveck-Delgado fight as he would get beaten like hell.

I hope they gave Zaveck someone really good now as we all deserve, especially Jan himself, a fight that will show people what a beast he really is...

I watched him fighting on youtube and I must say he is quite decent, he'd beat Berto for sure..

It should be known in 2-3 weeks the next opponent...

Names that are mostly in conversation for next opponents are (they are high in IBF as well): Bailey and Jones...

Malignaggi did it again and called out Zaveck to fight him for the 2nd time in last few months...he is saying he beat Delgado twice 7 years ago...well he won him by points. Zaveck destroyed Delgado so Paulie still thinks he would survive the fight?!

What do you guys think?

Malignaggi would be a good fight. Very winnable for Zaveck and he has a name, guaranteeing money and he get´s a bit more known in the bigger markets, so a fight against someone like Berto could be next. I´d love for Zaveck to get a few bigger paydays and some recognition. He certainly deserves it.
