Great video.
![]() Peak for Peak, Lewis TKO2, flooring Wlad several times. Lewis is the ultimate destroyer of Superheavyweights. [ame]***********.youtube.com/watch?v=FpdGFK_mqZI[/ame] [ame]***********.youtube.com/watch?v=4DvKiasJgCE[/ame] Last edited by Kalasinn; 03-15-2011 at 11:13 AM. |

It absolutely amazes me that those who disagree that he wasn't in his prime are too lazy to simply watch his earlier fights and compare the two versions. |

Considering the beating Vitali withstood, and knowing it is unlikely Wlad could have done the same, I have to say this would be a Lewis KO.
Good vid though. |

I respect the way Wlad has adapted his fighting style but that jab isn't going to stop Lewis. |

Regaining the WBC title In his first comeback fight Lewis was given a chance to fight for the mandatory challenger position within the WBC and won it by knocking out American contender Lionel Butler. However, at the behest of promoter Don King[citation needed] the WBC chose to bypass him and give Mike Tyson the first shot at the title that had recently been won by fellow Briton Frank Bruno against Oliver McCall. Bruno had previously lost to both Lewis and Tyson. [url]********en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lennox_Lewis[/url] Even though it says citation needed that's the exact story that was in the news around that time. |

If Steward is in both men's corners, this fight would be very interesting indeed.
![]() Would be fanastic if he had to run back and forth inbetween rounds. If the fight actually happened at the time it was being built up? I'm not as convinced as others it would be a blow out. I think Wlad would sub in for Rahman perfectly. Not thinking highly of Wlad, I can see Lennox Lewis laying back without pressure in their initial meeting, letting Wlad force the offense and ultimately catch him with a knockout punch. In the rematch, Steward would have Lewis pressing and fighting the right fight, taking Wlad out early. Last edited by The Mongoose; 03-15-2011 at 08:24 PM. |
