Wasn't impressed by it. Relatively, there is nothing wrong with it but I was a bit shocked when I noticed. He tapped on the floor when no strike, sub etc was landing. In that moment I would have liked to see him keep trying to fight but I guess he was too hurt.

It was the liver shot that made him tap. He took a savage beating before that, so it's hard to blame the guy for begging for salvation. I wouldn't question Shogun's heart. Jones just breaks people.
I also like how with Shogun on the cage, wobbled, and covering up, Jones doesn't do what most fighters would do and blast away at his head. Instead, he lands one, beautiful, perfect body shot to end it. |
