Marvin Hagler took on all comers, and beat them all.
Robinson ducked Charley Burley. Can you imagine what Hagler (of the Hearns fight) would have done to prime Robinson? Maybe Ray would have lasted a few more rounds, but Hagler would have decimated him. |

Sugar Ray Robinson was the greatest & best p4p fighter that ever lived... he wins every vote outside of ESB & is actually winning this one too... & by a landslide at that.

The MW Robinson that beat Lamotta for the title would beat any version of Hagler, he was much faster, hit harder with either hand & - sorry to bring you back to reality - was just a better fighter than Hagler, period.

I can't say Hagler definitely beats Robinson but I think he has a fantastic chance.
I voted for Robinson |

It's gotta be Langford! He's proof that title don't make a champion. Look at all the belts some bums had! Robinson was good but he was taken in hand early and had a carefully crafted path to follow to the top. At the end of the day Robinson is still a fancy dan. Langford never relied on tremendous boxing skills he did have & beat someone going backwards. He was a killer and loved to fight the hardest punchers, the slickest boxers, the most courageous men. He was wide open. The new film of the Jeannette fight cements all the myths as true!
