The interesting angle here, however, is that Povetkin is not a runner; he is a fighter. Mormeck struggled with his last two opponents, Ibragimov and Oquendo, because they are boxer/runner types. Obviously Mormeck does better against stationary targets. Povetkin is also easy to hit. Thus, Mormeck vs. Povetkin may be more competitive than anyone of us realize.

There has been no news to this effect since the day I made this post, which was parody on actual news (although certain individuals who read it were too obtuse to realize this). Whatever the case, Sauerland has been very tight-lipped about the Povetkin-Atlas situation since their initial outburst last month. There have been no public anti-Sauerland rants lately by Teddy, either.
